View the Vibe comes to Vancouver

On September 21st, Dockside Restaurant hosted the launch party for View The Vibe, a video “vibe guide” that originated in Toronto in 2011 and has now made it’s way west to join us in Vancouver. Through 90-second “movie trailer” style videos, the team hopes to bring  a new element to the city’s dining scene as they “beautify” some of Vancouver’s finest restaurants. Restaurants in their current portfolio include local favourites such as Vij’s, Blue Water Cafe + Raw Bar, The Parlour, and Hawksworth.

Like any food-related business launch should be, most of the evening was spent mingling, imbibing, and eating fresh seafood and charcuterie.

We also had the opportunity to meet Founder, Nicki Laborie, and Editor-In-Chief, Adam Mazerall, and hear a little bit about the organization firsthand. I could quote what Nicki told us, or I could show you it to you in a video…

“A picture’s worth a thousand words. A video’s worth a million.”

    • Hi! I used a template off of WordPress and then adapted it to better suit my needs. I know ppl that use Wix as well which is very user friendly but has some limitations. Let me know if you need further help!
